In a lot of collections for Spring/Summer 2012 there has been a trend towards more sophisticated styling. This is not a new concept though, this idea of the 'Lady' was a big aspect of the prim and proper women of the 40's and 50's. This style was very visible in the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2012 collection (one of my all time favourites!) and that is when the 'Lady' truly made her big comeback. I choose to shoot some ladylike accessories to pay homage to this growing trend. In honour of the beautiful spring weather I decided to shoot outside on my patio, since of course patio season is on the horizon!
It was fairly bright outside but because I wanted to keep a shallow depth of field (and therefore a low and wide aperture) I had to increase the shutter speed to about 1/500 and leave my aperture at f-4.
I wanted the accessories to stand out on their own and have the background blurred.
You're all done with your blogging Jazmine, thats 3 now by my records, great job.
