This weekend was a double whammy: both of my sisters had their birthdays on separate days, but Saturday evening we had a combined family celebration for them. There was cake, presents, and great outfits. 
Since my family is a bit camera shy, I had to exclude their faces from the photos. I used this to showcase the clothes more prominently. 

We are a family obsessed with Disney, as you can tell by my sister's sweater.

My cousin's top was pretty awesome...

But the sleeves made it even more amazing.

Even my Nonna (grandmother) was bejewelled.

My nifty sister made this herself out of duct tape and a plain headband. 

I used an ISO of 800 and f3.5, while the shutter speed varied from 1/10 - 1/20. I played with the vibrancy of the colours in photoshop as well.

Yes, clothes are great, but I know what you guys really want to see is the cake.

This is a traditional Italian custard cake with vanilla custard on the top and chocolate on the bottom.

Yum.
