I was bitten by the Big Apple fever at an early age. It is a city where it happens, whether you are looking for your dream job, fame, love, new friends, inspiration, amazing food....the opportunities are endless. I've been lucky enough to have contacts in NYC to allow for frequent visits. However, I realized I have stopped taking photos of the city, as I no longer feel like a tourist there. I was there a few weekends ago, and here are some shots of why I love this city so much.
All Saints in Soho has an amazing decor of old Singer sewing machines and other antique-looking machines. One of the best decorated stores I've seen in North America so far, comparable to the interior design of retail stores in Europe.
Older buildings with the brick walls and fire escapes have so much character and help define the boroughs of Manhattan. This was taken in the East Village.
I wish I got a chance to attend the shows, but I caught a glimpse of all the buzz that was happening that week.
I need a name to mark this as a post... Please e-mail me!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the All Saints Store in Camden Market (London, England) is AMAZING, if you ever get a chance... go! You'd like it..
