Coming home to Vancouver for reading break, I am reminded of all the beautiful organic colours that come from the variety of trees, sand, logs, ocean and mountains. My friend Meriel, a 2nd year UBC Psychology student, and I went for a beach walk along Spanish Banks, bundled up with our Starbucks in hand. I was instantly inspired by the earthy, natural colours she was wearing and how they related to the beautiful and overcast scenery around us. All of the images were taken using an ISO of 100, shutter speed of 1/160, and the aperture of F4.5.
