Zombie Walk the Runway Show - October 2010

Here are some photos I took at the Zombie Walk the Runway show at the Church at Berkeley in October 2010.  I was hoping in the comments you guys could perhaps identify what techniques I have used to capture these images?  Notice the darker lighting choice - this is to set a mood.  As mentioned in class, its OK to break the rules a bit, but you need to know the rules before you break 'em.  There are some un-intentionally underexposed in more recent posts above... my bad. ;)

As you can see, I like a little bit of blur, mostly for 'artsy' reasons - how does this affect your perception of these images as "fashion"? (Something to think about...)

Getting the ball rolling...

More depth of field manipulation...

Depth of field is my favorite... also, playing with exposure to create a mood.

I kept a nice slower shutter speed here to capture the movement and fogginess of a party atmosphere
Here is a crazy composition and a gentle manipulation of depth of field.  I shot this in Amsterdam - city of bikes!
So I thought I would be reflective on your first assignments and perhaps show a few of my own photos which perhaps demonstrate the skills you guys had to use, but in my own way!  So, here goes my first try at blogging! ;)
