Wedding Woes
During a photoshoot for my friend's 2nd year fashion design portfolio, I was met with many frustrating challenges. I found photographing her wedding dress very difficult, because too much light caused the flattening of all details, whereas too little light created very ugly shadows onto the dress. Therefore, I don't think I translated the dress very well into photography. I had particular trouble with the close up of the bodice, where I really wanted to lighten up the picture but was very limited in this capacity because of the white details. Hopefully with more practice, I will be able to take much better photographs of white clothing in the future!
